Fill in the BLANKS

We all have solved the question fill in the blanks when we were in school. Very easy and straight forward question as good as handy marks. Just read the chapter from book, and all set to get all marks….but life is not as straight and simple as our exams. Just by simply reading the books these blanks won’t be filled up….

We do always think about these blanks…How to fill/complete them, and make plans for them…but it wont get execute as per our plans, and then we realize that whatever we are thinking as blanks, are actually not blanks. There is something….!
Its just matter of fact that we have not realized it yet.

After realization, days pass …happily…and life goes on, by its own pace. We are following our routine. Same office, same road, and same tea at tapari…everything same, because we don’t have any other option. Problems do come; situation changes and we solve our problems… sometimes by habit, sometimes by our own intelligence, or sometimes by fighting with boss. Once we got the solution on the problem, we feel proud; feel happy and start following the same routine.

We realize that, these thing affecting our health…but still the same. Because we don’t know how to avoid these. Life is changing and causing increase in stress, emotional imbalance.  People are moving apart, discussion is almost end. We know all these things. We are experiencing them around ourselves. Experts say all theses causes hypertension, mental disorder, and psychological problems. But we are great; we know we would never face such things.

And then one day we come to know that one of our friends of same age has high blood pressure. Doctor diagnosed as Stress. Friend’s high blood pressure or any other, these are physical disorder; but the 90% reason behind that is psychological and that’s why we are more frightened. We know that if we come across any physical pressure, we can overcome it. We can go gym, can do exercise or yoga or go for morning walk. But what about the mind, how to release this mental pressure?

Then we remember the concept of ‘weekend’, like western people (or our clients have). Those people do something new; go out for long drive, parties, picnics…Since Friday morning when weekends start, and because of that most of the people left early, its observed that on Friday these people do more work than usual days.

I do agree that we also enjoy our weekends, but our society or lifestyle or our condition, don’t afford or allow us to do this every weekend.
There are some problems…and because of that we suffer inside. Not because of problems but we are not able to do things what we want to do and un-necessarily stressed out.

Look, don’t think and cry about what we don’t have, but think on how to enjoy whatever we have.

Don’t think that whether these blanks in our life are good or bad. Some people try hard to fill these blanks. Some people cry, because they don’t have these blanks in their life. These blanks mean our loneliness. Most of the people don’t understand how to fill them and they move apart from people unknowingly.

How to fill these blanks? People say that they don’t get time from their work. Not even small break. Accept this festive season as small break. Though we don’t get official holidays from office, but these long weekend or two days of weekend, take this as break.

There is only need to think differently. Remember this small routine change give us the energy to work more efficiently. Because one thing is sure that if this small change from our busy life is not giving us energy then we have not find the hikers in our office, who climbs high up on weekend and after returning, work more efficiently.

There are lots of things to do in life, and for that it’s the time to think differently.

The SECRET behind ‘NO’

You might wondered by the title of blog and day I choose to write this blog i.e. on 14th Feb. All of us know this day as Valentine’s Day.

But yes I think this is the right day to write on this topic.

She said 'No' to him and he committed suicide ……..
More often we hear such kind of news in our surroundings.
A single (I say 'not handled') rejection or ‘NO’ ends up with one’s life…look how much strong is this ‘NO’.
We often worried of this rejection or ‘NO’, then this rejection is either from Society or from the our closed person, directly or indirectly, we don’t want to hear this ‘NO’
Cause we learnt since we were child that ‘NO’ means opposite of ‘YES’, that means again negation.

Truly speaking, everybody has to face this rejection in their life in one or other way at any step of life.
May be this rejection started very early in our childhood when we had demanded something to our parents and they had said ‘NO’ to that. May be there were some reasons behind that but we got angry; then we grown up and we understand the secret reasons behind that ‘NO’ that those rejection ware for our better future.

Such kind of this small-small rejection then starts becoming our part of Life, and then time comes….(sound from Drums) that we start liking someone (off course this time comes in everybody’s life). Sometimes that liking turns into LOVE, (ya correct
everybody is not this much lucky ki ‘Ankho –ankho me pyaar ho gaya’) Someone has to come ahead and propose the things……but most of us are afraid of the result, that what will I do if she/he says ‘NO’ and only because of this ‘IF’, most of love stories ends before start.

Have you ever given thought on this, that why does he/she reject you or said ‘NO’ to you?????

Truly, most of the time this rejection is to who are you as Person. Rejection to your
wish of being Husband or Wife. Cause everybody has their own liking and disliking. Everybody has some idea or we can say a sketch of his/her life partner. May be you are not fit into that idea or sketch, and so you get rejection or may be he/she likes someone else that’s why you get rejection.

But that person doesn’t try to understand the reason behind ‘NO’ and suffers. This ‘NO’ involves in his/her life so badly, that question of existence arises…..

Actually by rejecting that person he/she has done good job, cause only not able to say ‘NO’ people got married and then for whole life they have to face the consequences.

If you take this rejection positively, then who knows that this rejection (‘NO’) brings new evolution in your life.

Of course some of rejections change our whole life. Great example of J.K. Rowling, she had met so many publishers for her book (now world known) ‘Harry Potter’, but every time she got rejection. But now we all love her creation Harry Potter and his fantasies. Another one is Walt Disney, he had to loose his job, cause editor said that he didn’t have good cartoons and new ideas. But after that Disney’s Micky and Donald are world famous.

These all people found out, one or more positive things from the rejection they had got.

And yes off course the way of handling a rejection is big deal, in the same way saying ‘NO’ is also big deal, but we should learn that how to handle this ‘NO’ and how to say ‘NO’.

Cause in past I came across the saying from Tony Blair that :-
“The art of Leadership is saying no, not saying yes, it is very easy to say yes, and so difficult to say NO.”
